Algorithmic mythology is a spiritual quest through images which wishes to reaffirm their role in the construction of collective beliefs. This visual collection, therefore, displays elements which allow space for the viewer’s projections:

human shadows,

construction sites,

manufactured objects with functionless shapes...

In the installation these elements become guides, temples, and totems. The viewers are invited to choose images that resonate with them for each of these three concepts. The first forty choices that are made appear as punches on the cards, referring to the first programming systems. Here, they are used to map connections between individual behavior, like an analog algorithm.

Every visitor were invited to scan their choices, to create a collective visual mythology. (see the book Guide Temple Totem)
